Natsume Takashi has a special curse. That curse of course is the ability to see Youkai. This of course labels him as insane. Once again he has been moved to a new family. Only this time he is moved to the town his grandmother grew up in. Reiko had the same ability that Takashi has. Unlike Takashi, she was a total bitch and went around enslaving Youkai. She kept them all in her in Book of Friends. The book of frieds, gives the owner of the book the ability to summon any Youkai he or she wants and control them.

Well Takashi is in trouble as every Youkai in the city is after him now. Takashi, is nicer than Reiko so he is returning the names of all the Youkai his bitch of a grandmother took. However, doing this is a dangerous task. So he enlists the help of Madra, a powerful Youkai, who is hafter the book of friends himself. The deal, Madra gets the book of friends after Takashi dies.
