MMO Nation
A slight change from the usual isekai adventure. Instead of a single character from an MMO getting transported into the game. A whole bunch of them get transported into another game. Not just the overpowered super characters, either. There is a range of characters, from brand new characters to old legendary veteran characters. Which adds a unique twist on the anime as everyone now has to react to this new world where it appears to be the game, at least for the characters. So there is a lot of political intrigues.
It kind of shows how even in a world where you are overpowered and can do anything you have, people still form factions and try to control things. At the end of the day might cannot make right all the time. Though it is interesting to watch how some people are easily exploited in the series. Even better is how some characters figure out how to hack old game mechanics to help boost themselves. However, watching the political part of the anime is just one fun part of the anime. There is also everyone figuring out all the new game features as well.
Another part of this anime is the fact that the characters did not just get brought into the world. They were brought into the latest expansion of the world. The characters in the world are required to figure out all the game's new features as well. Then there is the rest of the world. The game is no longer just a game, so you have to figure out how the world works as well. It is interesting to see how these players who have honed their skills for so long managed to adapt themselves to the world, but that does not stop adventure.
Another interesting aspect of this anime. Eventually, you manage to find time to have everyone go on an adventure. Well, some of the weaker characters. The transition to this is pretty smooth, which makes it easier to handle. It is not an easy task to change from one group of main characters to another and then back again. This anime does it very smoothly, and it does not feel like an aside like such things usually do. More like the parents tell the kids to go out and play outside. The outside is pretty interesting as well.
The anime does not just do a great job of incorporating the world into the game, but it also does a wonderful job of incorporating the real-world infrastructure into the game. The game mechanics, such as monster drops, are also pretty nicely integrated into the game. If anything, the world in this game is pretty well thought out. This is probably why some plans can work so well in the game. Though having everything explained so well in the game can detract from its mystery. Still, the anime does a great job.
All in all, this anime is worth the time investment. Plus, you get a lot of episodes that can really pad out the experience, which is very enjoyable. Everything fits together nicely and flows together nicely. Sometimes it feels like everything works out too nicely, but that is part of anime, too as well. It is interesting watching everyone decide that they need to do more than just pretend like they are only playing a game. The anime does an excellent job at teaching people a lot of skills. This anime is definitely worth the watch if you can find the time.
