Now comes the hard part, finding a way to praise this anime. A true writer, not me, could easily do it. So then, lets start off with... I guess there is a good lesson to be learned from this anime. That lesson is more in how you go about accomplishing your goals. Really when I think about it. I think that is the main moral of the story and probably why you should watch this series. That way you can learn to be like Hanako.

Now maybe I am completely mistaken on a message or am just making one up as I go, but I feel that this anime is a good example of why people succeed and fail. The whole series revolves around the obnoxious Hanako, who brings together a group of girls to be a cute idol group. If you sit back and watch the entire anime. The group is composed of several working parts. Composer, designer, dance instructor, lifestyle... coach I guess, and extras. When you sit back and look at it. Despite all the amazing talents of all the girls who help Hanako. None of them really have the power to succeed. All of the girls live half way lives where they just live. Hanako on the other hand has the drive and enthusiasm to actually make what she wants a reality. Even if Hanako is a complete tool when it comes to living. She will succeed because she has what is needed. Namely optimism, energy and a no-quit attitude. So yeah, that is exactly what you see. I am also a fan of the animation.

That good old idolmaster engine is really getting a workout these days. I am sorry to say, even though I Have never played the game, it looks like they stole a bunch of animation from idolmaster and redubbed the songs. Not a bad thing really. It is hard to say if the sudden 3-D to 2.5D to 2D was something that was really needed, but hey it was a start right? YOu need to take advantage of technology. In this case it works out really good. Part of the fun of animes like this one is the fact that they are all about the dances. They spawn a couple of things for the real world. The first is hot attention desperate girls like to take off as much clothing as is legal and dance around. Providing much-needed masturbation tools to losers like me. Second, it provides guys with a way to be goofy and maybe, on accident, bring in a girl or something... you know I am not really sure where I am going with this. The music is also good... on an intellectual level anyway.

Maybe this is the music minor in me. However, I always enjoy seeing music that gets written that has a lot of different parts. I mean yeah, overall the music was pretty standard pop. I was more interested in how they managed to have a set of balanced vocals. Maybe I just suck at writing music, but that is something that seems like it would be really really hard to write. Vocals where sentences can be changed between girls and they match in with the music without sounding off.

So overall, there are some pretty good qualities to this anime. Yeah my arguments are a little weak, but hey I had to find something. Overall I find the anime interesting and worth watching if you are into the stuff that I just specified. I guess the old saying is, to each their own. I cannot say that I was just head over heals amazed with this anime. However, it is one of the ones that I found myself coming back to and wanting to watch. Which can be a little odd for me. Especially with these girl power, girlfriends, love animes that are coming out. Well regardless, I hope that I can at least convince you this anime is not all that bad... it can be a chore with animes like this one.
