Pastery was once a famous... I am not sure if you call him a candy expert or something. Anyway, he liked to make sweet food for a living. Well, one day, he is killed by one of his own creations. Then, he gets reincarnated in a new world as the son of a new lord. Not skipping a beat, he starts his new life over with his desire to make the land of sweets. He has to navigate the whole being a noble thing first.
Season 1 Episode 2
Young boys in dresses
I am not sure why this is a thing as well. I do feel bad for the kid having a weird, perverted mom and sisters who like to dress him up in dresses. I guess he is a good sport and accepts the dresses, but it is strange that this is the kind of thing that must happen in anime. Are there really people like that in Japan who play dress-up dolls with their little brother? Well, whatever, I guess that anime has its own proclivities.
Season 1 Episode 2
Not a loser
So this is a rare trait that we are seeing for once, instead of the main character crying about how he or she does not want to have to work or deal with being a noble or anything like that. Pastery seems to understand that in order for him to have the bandwidth to start wasting time and money on his dream, he has to make sure that there is a stable economy where he lives first. Luckily, he has all sorts of knowledge to help him jumpstart things.
