Sacred Seven
I will rate this after I am done with other anime and stuff
Alma is tall and lanky. He has anger problems and seems to be an outcast. However, that is not is fault. He is born with the power of the dark stone. When he gets angry he goes on a killing spree. Then he meets Ruri
Ruri is your typical princess. She is tiny and cute and pretty much incapable of doing anything. She runs a multi-national corporation and in her spare time fights out of control dark stones. Ruri convinces Alma to join her cause with her ability to control his powers.
Season 1 Episode 8
It Is A Date... Only Not.... -_-
Yet another facet of Japanese society that I will never understand, the pretend date. You know where a bunch of perverted guys and girls set up a guy and girl they feel that they would be perfect for each other. Give them a task and tell them they have to perform the task together. Then they write off the task trip as a date? o.o... Just because you have a guy and a girl go out does not make it a date.
I have never understood this. Obviously these two do not see each other in that light... in most cases... I guess this is not one of them. However, in most cases these two are friends who don't even think about that facet of life. Yet everyone else is having their perverted dreams about them being together. It is just weird and annoying. Hell if a guy and girl doing something together constitutes a date I dated a few girls in High School
Season 1 Episode 7
What He Was a Bad Guy?
Holy crap I did not know that the other CEO was a bad guy. Mean after all he is friends with Ruri right? You know I wish they could have maybe... god I don't know tried harder to hide it? It is so boring seeing the twist when the new character is introduced. Seriously, why the hell do they do that? Speaking of which why the hell can't main characters know when someone is bullshitting them?
Seriously, this guy is clearly doing research on the Dark Stones. Why the hell isn't anyone suspicious of him? The Dark Stones powers in humans only manifest in humans really. What else could he be experimenting on? Oh I know, he is experimenting on mice. You know using the dark stones to give them super powerful mouse battle armor.
Season 1 Episode 2
This is Confusing
So from what I can understand. Alma has a super power of some kind. Ruri has another super power of some kind. They are tasked with saving the world. Something like that right? Only.... there is the caveat that they have limited ammo? Don't get me wrong it is an interesting twist but weird. Speaking of which where does Ruri find time to run a company?
This is something that has always confused me. You have these high school kids who are in charge of large corporations. Yet you never see them doing anything for these companies. Sure you see them going to school. Fighting evil monsters. Commanding their army of maids to go on covert missions. Yet you never see them sit down and actually have anything to do with their company. Where do they go? When do they find time to make the big decisions that CEOs make? Hell even batman found time to run his company.
Season 1 Episode 3
The Competiton Appears
I love how clearly evil these guys are. First off they are ripping off Bubblegum Crisis with their neato suits. Second, they obviously cannot be good guys. After all, there is the bad guy formula. Bad guys have to be either super rich or poverty stricken. Now this guy runs a company researching the dark stones. Clearly he is a bad guy. He is out for... something... I am not sure what.
For that matter what exactly is he researching? Is he trying to create artificial dark stones or something? I know he is doing something for military use... after all what other possible use could these things have? You know besides super powered manual labor. Like that won't turn into something horrible.
Season 1 Episode 6
The Perfect Kidnapping
You know I think the people who can control the full power they have are a bit too powerful. They can fly, shoot things, have tentacles, and can pass through walls.. and that is not event he full list.. only what I can remember. I mean I guess it is ok if there is the caveat that their uses are limited. However, still there seems to be no shortage of ways for them to access their power.
