Waiting for the Macbook
So this waiting is getting kind of old. I want to start developing on my Macbook again as I am starting to lose the ideas I once had. I just do not feel comfortable doing any non-work related coding on my work computer. As I am pretty sure anything that happens on that computer will be confiscated by work. It is funny how companies try to own everything we do. But I think doing this stuff under the radar will keep me out of hot water.
Anyway, yesterday I got a parking ticket. You see it seems that my year sticker fell off my van and for some reason everyone thinks my tags are expired. God was I annoyed when I found out that I got a ticket. It was not like it was some rent-a-cop from RTD either. It was a full fledged cop, well traffic cop anyway. Even then I would be less annoyed if it was not for the fact that I work for the company who wrote the software for onlne vehicle registration. I also know that local authorities have some kind of access to it. Why couldn't he have just looked it up? Seriously, the guy has a ticket generator that posts my ticket to their servers. They cannot have a small connection to see if cars are registered? While $50 is not all that much money I am still pretty annoyed, and refuse to pay it when I have not broken any laws, this time around. Oh what a joy it will be going to that office tomorrow.
