New Shiney Things
Ok so I am almost done with getting my Mac set back up. After several attempts I finally figured out the best way to get my apps from my iPod touch onto my newly formatted mac. Took me a while but at least it is done. And then there was the mean time of my new hobby, on Daytum. This is a new worthless web tool that is taking up a lot of my time. Mainly because it is just so... pointless? It is a wonderous counter that counts up to 6 different things for me. You can see what I am counting on my page, here.
In other news I have finally tired of my old candy bar work phone. So I picked myself up a shiny new G1. And it is a sexy well made phone, just like all the reviews said. I am really enjoying it so far, I think I have it set up JUST right. Granted I set up My Faves incorrectly, so I only get 4 this month, but soon I will be able to make it work. I have only run into one draw back so far, and that is the fact that all my apps are saved to internal memory, and that is something that the G1 is very lacking in. But google is working on fixing that, I think, and if not I am sure I can find plenty of hacks to make it work the way I want too. But for now I am pretty happy with what I have. I just have to watch out for the apps that are larger than 1 meg.
Well time for sleep. Tomorrow after I make myself some dinner my goal is to set up CVS on my Mac. That way I will have some version tracking software. I am only choosing CVS because it is built into the Mac, and I need to learn it for work. Anyway, soon I will get back to doing my normal stuff.
