Finally all the holdiay crap is over with. You know not matter how much time passes I do not really think I will ever like the holiday season. Really it is just so exhausting. I mean I guess I am okay since sometimes I will not have much going on... but still. First you have to deal with all the stuff for Thanksgiving and then there is Giftmas, followed by new years. It just feels so wonderfully exhausting. You know because I have to come up with excuses as to why I am not going to actually participate in any of the holidays. Seriously that gets old for me. Every year if I do not come out and say "Oh yes I am going to party it up" or something along those lines, to the few people I actually speak too. It seems like I am doing something wrong. Anyway enough venting I am going to do something else instead.

So recently I have been doing a lot of marathoning through anime that I have already watched. You know it is kind of funny to think about some of this anime that I have already watched. I mean when I was watching it week to week. Some of these arcs seemed to go on forever and ever. You know it felt like the series itself was going so very very slow. However, now that I watch a lot of this anime back to back to back, well I realize that a lot of the stuff that happens in the anime actually does not take very long. I mean even for 90s anime sometimes the arcs feel long when you watch them one week at a time and then they feel suddenly short when I watch them as quickly as possible. Hmm.. well it is an interesting phenomenon. I am not sure what I should really think of it. It kind of makes me just want to be patient.

Then again... if I am patient and do not watch anime at all.. well I am not going to have anything to do. I mean yeah it is a bit painful watching anime week to week and at most I am only killing 8 hours or so on a week of simualcasts... but you know it feels like I am just not going to have anything to do if I wait to watch the seasons at the end of the anime. Plus my whole little episode blog thing does not really work for the whole marathoning through things. Eventually I do get that itch to just blitz through at break-neck speeds. Well no matter at the end I will just keep watching for what I pay for.

So I am kind of curious as to how this season will turn out. There were a lot of interesting anime this past season. Though I am pretty sure that all the interesting anime in the world will just wind up giving me lots of second seasons. That seems to be the trend now. You get 13 episodes, a 3 month break to sell DVDs and then you get another 13 episodes. Hmm well I guess it is not so bad. Really not too many anime out there really give you a lot of second seasons. Most just shrug their shoulders if there is not rioting in the street for the second season. Oh well, I guess I will get an excuse to watch a lot of new an interesting anime that will come out. Plus it is always fun to do marathons right?

Speaking of marathons, circumstances have left me with a marathon to the end... or so I like to pretend I generally hate waiting for the last couple of episodes so I guess I have better get on things that will be something to do. I mean I do have the time to accomplish such things after all it is the long weekend for me and even better no clients to go home to so I can relax a bit and make it so that I am going to be not stressed about meetings and coming up with answers and stuff. Hmm what to watch while I wait for dinner.. that is the question now.. I mean I guess I do not want to turn on my other systems... then again do I really want to read? that is the question on my mind.. I guess I have some time to figure this stuff out.
