So as of last Friday I have seen everything that the Stargate-SG1 universe has to offer. Yup, all 10 seasons and the two movies. Ah it feels good to have that out of the way. And I must say, that I am kind of glad that I did not watch the last 3 episodes of Stargate-SG1. Because they are the biggest waste of time any person could ever hope for. I mean holy shit, is it so much to ask for a proper set up into the movie The Ark of Truth? Seriously, they tried to resolve the unfinished series. How often is it that you are left with a "Well shit there is nothing we can do" series finale? I mean this is not some crummy sitcom like Friends. This is a work of fiction with an actual story. You do not build a story up to a climax then stop. Well I don't know if I would call that stop. Either way, they could have tried to lead into the movie. I mean holy shit they leave you with "It is another day in the galaxy". They do not even set up the potential for a movie or some kind of resolution. Then again, they probably did not know they were doing the movie at the time. Hmm.. maybe that is why they left it so... unresolved. I did enjoy Continuum though.

While probably a last minute thing Continuum acutally turned into something that I could enjoy. Now maybe it was Ba'al's fleet dropping into earth orbit and the jet fights that made it cool. But if anything it was an interesting story. Granted it took them forever to tell the interesting story. But it was an interesting story none the less. How what was left of SG-1 defeated the last of the system lord Ba'al. The best part is that in most peoples mind the story is over. I mean you defeat your enemy for the past 10 years and where do you go? Personally I would like to see them go to war with some other humans, but that is just me.

Well onto Atlantis, well that is when Stargate Atlantis Season 5 is released on DVD. I am curious to see how things end up in Atlantis. I kind of stopped watching it around season 3 when they put Battlestar Galatica inbetween SG1 and Atlantis. Sadly Season 5 has yet to come out. I can get one through four. That is just not as much fun. God I hope season 5 gets released soon. Then I will have another two to three weeks of Stargate to watch.
