So I was bored and was thinking about something that I might be able to write about that might be more amusing than my usual boring rhetoric about the industry and what I hate about the world and all that stuff. So I decided to waste a bunch of time thinking about the elitists of the world. You know those people that I/You am...? Yeah that sounds right enough. Well anyway I think I came up with a few. So we are going to start off today with the very first one, the Troll Elitist.

So originally I struggled a bit over what to call this one because.. well trolls are just so generic and easy to pick on. At the end though I had decide on something and that something became the Troll elitist. I personally think this one of the more annoying ones out there. I mean most of the time you only have to deal with them online, but still.. every once in a while you meet them out in the real world. I guess that is one of their good points, they hate everyone.

I guess that is why I struggled with the name originally. Most trolls out there just like causing trouble. However when it comes to the Troll elitist, well he or she is generally a recluse. Their hatred of the what the industry has become drives them from public and makes being outside of their mom's basement a real struggle. So that is probably one of the best qualities about them. You only have to deal with them on mediums that you can easily ignore them on or get them banned from. That is to say that making one like you is not always a bad thing either.

After all, the troll elitist is the master of trivia. So.. if you have to go outside and happen to have one of these around. Make sure to hit every single trivia contest you can. Just by having one of these around they will give you the edge. Mainly because they can answer all the really hard high point questions that no one else can answer. Which is a good thing, after all you can get some pretty neat stuff from trivia. Especially the bragging rights to say that you were a part of the team that won that really hard trivia contest.

Too bad this is also the troll's biggest flaw too. Much like a music hipster.. I think that is what they are called. The troll looks for all the smallest name anime and manga that he or she can find so that they can say they thought it was cool before it catches on. They live to be the only person who knows about that one anime that you have never heard of because you do more than watch anime with your life. Much like a music hipster.. well as the anime grows in acceptance and popularity... the trolls hatred of it grows. Of course the troll will never stop reading the manga or watching the anime, but he will make sure that you know he or she hates it now.

On the flip side I am pretty sure every troll has an orgasm when one of their obscure titles are canceled. You know because they know of something super obscure, and you do not know of anything that obscure. So if you are caught reading that particular title you are a target for many things... rarely are any of them good. However, you get lucky enough to hear the troll think you are a kindred spirit. Then again you have to agree with the troll or be doomed.

Trolls are narrow-minded, they fell they are enlightened and great in the universe therefore their thoughts are godly. One does not simply disagree with a troll and get away with it, no no no,one must suffer the wraith of the troll and his views until you figure out that the only way to escape is to praise their narrow-minded view. Which makes things hard on you. So you had best not disagree with them. The only thing worse is liking something they did not hear of first.

Let us say you are watching a really popular anime that everyone likes. Well if the troll did not see it when it came out, then it clearly sucks. Not that hundreds of titles rise and fall over the course of the year. However, if the title is big it obviously cannot be that good. Most trolls will judge their content based on the fanbase and how successful the title is. Instead of constructing good solid arguments about why the title sucks. Their reason to not watch it will be that the title is big and has a huge creepy loser fanbase. The troll is obviously far to grand to be seen in the presence of such common filth. Not that having intelligent reasons as to why the title is bad is not a wonderful acceptable thing right?

So yeah that sums of the troll elitist. At the end of the day these are the guys ruining your life. While they may have a few actual uses in life, like introducing you to new titles or winning you swag, they are to be avoided. Well unless you are one of course. Then they should be embraced, after all it is not like they are going to reproduce or anything... right?
