The Sudden Closers Are HERE!!!
Uhh yay it is the most wonderful time of the season. You know that annoying time when all of the anime that took too long to get going before they had confirmed a second season start sprinting to the finish line. Man why does this happen every season? I do not get it, it happens so much that it is almost making anime hard to watch.
Just once it would be nice if anime skipped the obnoxious pointless episodes and skipped the fan service just so that we could have one concise season. You know with a steady build to the end of the anime not just a skip around and play video games all night and finish the project the hour before school starts kind of deal. When did this stuff start happening anyway?
Maybe it has been happening for longer than I give it credit for. I mean... I guess I might have enjoyed being a super fan too much back int hose days so it might not have been as obvious that the season was nothing but fluff with three episodes with an actual story and plot beyond when is the penis going to enter the female. However it seems like recently all anime can do is skip around and do nothing. Then waste an episode or two on the beach and then start to make a series where you can actually call it a story with more than fluff. Then again I guess it is not all bad.
I mean there are plenty of fluff series out there that do not do anything like that. In fact those series just end on a completely random note and they do not care because they were and empty fluff series to begin with. I like those anime at this time of year because they just die. They are not like all these anime set in magical worlds or whatever where they do slice of life with a sudden need for the hero to rescue the princess or something like that. I mean why even have an ending these days?
To be honest I am starting to question the point of even having an ending for a series. Why not just have a foreshadow end? What happened to anime just being simple like that? There are plenty out there where there is plenty of time for the anime to start getting good again. Then the series just ends after 13 episodes and restarts... I guess it would be 3 months later. So just have the season or two break and pick up where you left off? I do not know, it just gets agitating to have to watch a series and then see the episode that is the beginning of the end.
I guess that is the world of business for you. Always one step behind everything... after all I have yet to see an anime skip a swimsuit episode in recent years. It could be the most depressing violent anime out there. But wait lets break for lunch and go prance around in swimsuits that would appear on beach queen figures regardless of if they actually appeared in the show. Well I guess all I can do is shrug and say "whatever" and see how poorly the series are tied up with a crappy happy-go-lucky montage.
