Man it is that sad time of year when the season has ended and I am stuck having to do a ton of writing. The end of the winter anime season. I am kind of annoyed by the fact that this season is ending. The first thing that really got me was the fact that it seemed like there were a bunch of oddly number shows. I do not know why, I think there was only one.. but still. I do not know why. Oh yeah, then there is the fact that my favorite anime of the season ended.

You know I am all for making sure that you get fan support before making a new series. However, when an anime clearly has more than 12 episodes in it, you need to make sure that you show more than 12 episodes. I do not get why the hell this has to happen every time a new an original show comes on. All of the sudden the show ends. God, what was worse is the show did not even end in a great place. You generally want to end a show at the end of an arch, not at the very beginning.. geez.. what are our anime writing buddies taking a note from the American counterparts.

Oh well, I guess the one thing I like about this season ending is the fact that there might be a shot at there being less three minute animes. That really annoyed me this season. This season was the season of the web anime. At least it felt that way to me. I mean I am not one to really keep track of what happened five minutes ago, but seriously. Seemed like this season there were a lot of cut backs on animation or something. The only reason I did not really like this is there was less anime to fill up my time.

That is the only reason I really did not like this whole short anime thing. One thing I like about anime is the fact that it gives me an excuse to relax and spend twenty minutes away from work or life or whatever else is going on. However, this season they decided that there was going to be lots of anime that was super short. Yeah I guess that animators are just getting too expensive these days. SO now I can watch four animes in less time than it takes to watch one. How sad was that. Well here is to hoping that next season has more full length animes.

So overall this end season is looking to be a good thing. Maybe there will be more anime to watch and maybe there will be less anime to watch... god I hope this three minute episode thing is not a new trend. Anyway, I will try to get more reviews out in the coming weeks... I mean crap... I do not like looking at my reports on my review progress... they make me sad because I am REALLY slacking off on this whole thing. Maybe that is why I do not get as much traffic as I think I should be getting. Anyway, off to write reviews or something like that.
